The Wonder of Wood
Wood is the world's greatest and most valuable renewable resource. Fine wooden furniture and individual smaller pieces created from increasingly rare timbers, they all have a 'living' quality that deserves respect.
At Gumnut studios we take pride in specialising in creating, repairing and restoring pieces using the increasingly rare Hardwoods found throughout Australia with a focus on Western Australian timbers. Their unique density and fine grain qualities result in a depth of colour and surface finishes ideal for the creation of fine pieces.
